Is It Safe to Use a Cream with AHA on my Underarm?

Use of AHA cream on underarms

Alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) are used to bring about a mild peeling action. I am not sure what possible cosmetic goal could be achieved by causing a mild peel of the armpit / underarms and would therefore not advise doing so.
