I called a clinic offering MiraDry and they said that I needed to come in and get a medical diagnosis for hyperhidrosis. I don't think I really have a medical condition - I think I sweat about as much as the average person, but I just don't want to. If I go in, will I just be wasting my time? Or can anyone get the treatment? I don't see anything on the official MiraDry site that says a diagnosis is required. Thanks.

MiraDry is for both sweat and smell. Most patients (72%) need only one treatment and they have a reduction of 75 - 82 % of the sweat glands reduced. Best wishes, Dr. Aldo
You can get a list of doctors using MiraDry on Miradry.com. It costs 1600.00 to 2400.00 dollars and I have not seen this procedure covered by an insurance company.Best wishes, Dr. ALDO
