I still have active acne though on roaccutane 20 mg for more than 5 months. The dermatologist suggest I complete 1 year course. I want to know whether this is safe since there are many side effects. Please answer the following questions: 1) What is the mechanism of action of this roacccutane (isotretinoin) is it true that it works like chemotherapy drugs? 2) Why is it that even after 5 months, my acne is still active? 3) Have you recorded any permanent side effects? Please list them down.
