I had a root canal in March 2014, the crown came off, Dr. had not used a post. It is November 2014 and now I'm being told I need genivectomy or laser surgery to remove gum margins. 2 weeks ago he placed a temporary crown in my mouth while I waited for the replacement and now he tells me I need a surgery and that concerns and frightens me. Any clarity as to why this should happen
