Anything I Can Do to Prevent Capsular Contracture

Anything I Can Do to Prevent Capsular Contracture? The problem is we do not know what truly causes them. The prevailing theory is biofilm formation but I also strongly believe that blood within the capsule can trigger this phenomenon. Range of motion exercises may diminish or post pone its development.

Capsular contracture

If you are developing a capsular contracture, massage may help.  The medications like Singulair have been used with minimal success.

Capsular contracture treatment

For an early cc you can step up your massage, take VitE and hope for the best.  Avoid the asthma meds that have not been proven and have liver toxicity.  If these don't work you will need surgery unfortunately.

Meticulous surgery lowers risk of capsular contracture after breast implants.

Hi. 1)  Eliminating all bleeding and super sterile technique during breast augmentation really makes capsular contracture much less likely.  Ocaasionally, it happens, and we don't know why. 2)  There is nothing you can do.  And, unfortunately, it won't go away on its own.
