Can I Get Rid of "Scary" Eyes?

Over the last couple of years, people have been saying (directly and indirectly) that I look either scared or sad (occasionally "crazy eyes" gets thrown in). I can guarantee that I am none of the above. I think part of it is that I have developed a habit, or "tic", of widening my eyes and raising my eyebrows.....I really try to focus and not do this, but it is involuntary. What can I do to fix this? It's really bothering me.
