How Do I Get Rid of Light Patches on my Nose Caused by Sun Damage?

I'm a little dark skin. I recently visited the beach and received a bad sunburn over my face. Now that it's done peeling and hasn't been dry, it's left light patches over my nose. What it is called? And how can I get rid of them using home remedies? I need answers quick I have a big event coming up!
