Why do patients need to stop using Accutane 6-12 months before a rhinoplasty or rhinoplasty revision?

What are the problems that could occur if I'm on Accutane during a rhinoplasty revision?

Accutane and surgery

Accutane interferes with wound healing. It slows down the healing process, thus prolonging the inflammatory phase. Poor wound healing in any surgery can cause a poor surgical result.
