Rhinoplasty / Septoplasty Healing Process? (Photo)

I had rhinoplasty & septoplasty done June 13 & I must say it's been more painful than I thought. does anybody have any idea when the oozing / dripping will subside, when i will be able to breathe through my nose again, when the fuchsia swelling will go down, and when i won't have to sleep so elevated? still using the gauze pads under my nose & saline solution & arnica. going to attempt to have my mom help me wash my hair today. any advice would be so appreciated :(

The questions  you have are all good ones. These are best to be directed to your surgeon as each surgeon has his own post-op instructions. We give our patients a book of instructions with all these questions answered.

Rhinoplasty post op questions.

Rhinoplasty post op questions. These are all questions you should ask your surgeon. You  should know the answer to these questions before your surgery. In my office patients are given a sheet of paper and told on the day after surgery the answers all the questions you asked. Therefore call your surgeon.

Recovery after rhinoplasty is variable.

People heal differently and not every rhinoplasty is done the same. This combination makes it impossible to predict how fast someone should heal after the operation.
