No reason to place an implant underneath the sinus cavity

There is no reason to place an implant underneath the sinus cavity. A foreign body implant in the sinus cavity will get infected and have to be removed. Implants are placed on top of the maxilla for cheek augmentation. Other implants are placed in the orbital rim for orbital rim blowout fractures sustained by trauma.

More info...

Hi, You need to be more specific.  What do you mean "an implant under the sinus?"  Which sinus are you talking about?  What kind of implant?  What is it being done for?  Are you referring to a "sinus lift" by an oral surgeon?
