Can I get an eyebrow piercing a month before my rhinoplasty or a month after my rhinoplasty? I am wondering if this affects the healing process at all or can cause an infection. Also what about tattoos? A month after or before?

How long should I wait before getting the piercing or tattoo? Thank you, awesome people.

Piercing and tattoos before or after rhinoplasty

An eyebrow piercing performed well before nasal surgery should not affect your recovery. The same goes for tattooing particularly if it isn't in the immediate area. I would counsel my patients not to have any invasive work done in the vicinity of the nose for at least six to eight weeks after their rhinoplasty. I hope this helps.

Body Piercing and Tattoos with Rhinoplasty

Some would question the aesthetic value of body piercing and tattoos in conjunction with a finesse procedure such as rhinoplasty. That aside, either can be done a month before or after a rhinoplasty as long as the nose is not violated. If you choose to pierce the nasal skin or add pigmentation to it, wait at least two or three months.
