Rippling of breast implants is a very difficult problem to correct.
Saline breast implants are more likely to cause ripples than silicone gel breast implants. Saline breast implants can be over filled to try to avoid rippling but saline implants still tend to ripple.
A large breast implant pocket also trends to result in rippling, especially with saline breast implants.
My approach to correct rippling is to replace the saline implant with a larger silicone gel implant and to tighten the breast implant pocket.
Even this procedure is not 100% successful if you already have severe rippling, but it can work well for some patients.
