Tummy tuck Revision. To improve lax muscles left after Tummy Tuck, what would be the best procedure to retighten muscles. What the recovery be the same as if for Full Tummy Tuck?

Revision Tummy Tuck

Dear BaBegrl, I too am unclear why you have lax muscles after an abdominoplasty unless either the muscles were NOT tightened in the original procedure (IE a variation of a mini-tummy tuck or panniculectomy ) OR the muscle repair was subsequently disrupted by a subsequent pregnancy(ies) or an abdominal procedure which required a separation of the rectus (six pack) muscle for access to the abdomen. Tighten abdominal muscles

Most tummy tucks tighten the abdominal muscles when they are performed. Some surgeons are advocating tummy tucks that do not repair the abdominal muscles. The only option to tighten the muscles is to do a "Full" tummy tuck.
