Primary Rhinoplasty in 2003 for my wide nose and deviated septum. Also narrowed the nostrils, which look worse & totally unnatural!I've been so unhappy with the results, but nervous to undergo surgery again:-( I can send more photos via email if someone doesn't mind taking the time to review them. I'm curious to hear ideas on how I could achieve a more narrow refined & feminine nose, shorten the distance from nose to mouth, refine the tip, either with fillers or surgery or??

Looking for ways to refine the nose after previous Rhinoplasty

Sending photos is the only way that I'd be able to evaluate your nose and make specific recommendations.

Revision rhinoplasty options

Without seeing your nose it is hard to give you much advice. I'm happy to review your photos if you'd like to email them. The desire to acheive a narrower nose and more refined tip can often be improved with rhinoplasty. My approach involves focusing on maintaining adequate nasal support to provide a stable nasal framework for the long term.

Revision rhinoplasty

I'm sorry to hear that you are unhappy with how your rhinoplasty turned out. From what you are describing though it sounds like you need a revision. Your apprehension and fears are totally understandable having already failed one procedure and are common concerns in revision patients. Try to find someone who is experienced in revision procedures. Be realistic in your expectations and expect improvement, not perfection.

Revision Rhinoplasty

From the sounds of it (your description as I did not see any images), your augmentation would require revision surgery as opposed to fillers to perform your augmentation. You are going to require some major tip work (structural support) as well as changes to the alar base. All of this should be done with revision rhinoplasty surgery.

Narrowing the nose

It is difficult to answer your question without seeing profile photos of your nose - if your nose lacks projection then it can possibly be narrowed more by augmenting the bridge
