2 years ago i had a macs facelift and canthopaxy. Neither worked. 16 months ago i had a revision on the macs lift and there is still no change. The jowl area is more prominent and the eyes are slightly droopy. I would like to know if it is risky to have a 3rd revision as a face lift, not a macs lift and would a lateral temple lift, lift the corner of the eyes a bit. Also one side of my face is caved in from the 1st op..would fat transfer fix this.. thank you

It is best to optain MANY evaluations, at least 4, so you can determine a treatment protocol. Best of luck from MIAMI Dr. B

The risk is less with the surgical risks, although they are present, but from the planning process. If you... more

Secondary facelift or repeat facelift

A good long lasting facelift should provide excellenrt aesthetic results for 8-12 years.  Secondary facelifts are performed and we are seeing these done more often as patients are staying healthier and living longer.  The major concerns regarding repeat facelifts are scars and their location, the hairline, thinning skin, and thinner SMAS (the fascia under the skin that actually provides the lift).  Fat grafting in combination with a facelift can provide wonderful results... more
