I read six months, any risks I should be aware of of I redo it at 6 months instead of a year since we want to plan for a baby soon?

Best timing for revision rhinoplasty

Ideally you would wait until your nasal healing has fully stabilized. With thin skin this occurs sooner than people with thicker skin. Depending on what was done during your first surgery the nose can evolve even past 6 months so I would ask your surgeon what timing would be best in your case.

Revision rhinoplasty

I think that patients that want a revision rhinoplasty should wait in most cases a year at least. The nose is a funny structure, and it stays stiff and swollen for a long time after surgery. You have to give it time to settle down so that the tissues can be pliable in the OR.

How long to wait until a revision

Although it is often said that rhinoplasty results take 1 year to fully settle, there should be very little (if not imperceptible) changes to the nose between the 6 month and 1 year mark.
