Retin-A and stretch Marks

Retin-A is widely used for acne, but is also tested and believed to improve the appearance of stretch marks. It can be applied to stretch marks when they are fresh (still red/pink). Retin-A can reduce the redness in a new stretch mark and might help prevent scarring, but it is researched that Retin-A is most effective on a new stretch marks or ones that are less than one year old.
