Retin A Micro Skin Shedding?

Hello All, I recently went on Retin A micro 0.1% and had light acne however have Ice Pick scars and enlarged pores. While on this, Id say a week my skin had marked improvement. I was flaking as well. They say Retin A micro helps shed dead skin making your skin look young and fresh, will you continuously shed dead skin cells as long as your using Retin A Micro?

Exfoliation with Retin A micro

Retinoids, such as Retin A micro, accelerate skin exfoliation, or shedding. This is most noticable at the beginning of treatment. Although exfoliation continues with treatment, it slows down and becomes less noticable over time.

Also, Does Vaseline MEN Face and body lotion, Non-greasy fragrance free clog pores and make it easy to break out. Or can I use that as a moisturizer using Retin-A Micro as well
