Retin a Under Eyes Making Skin Worse

i have been using retin a .1%, i have been cautious, my skin tolerates retin a very well, no harsh side effects. however i've been using it under my eyes & 1 of my eyes looks noticeably worse than prior to using retin a, im not experiencing any redness or severe dryness in that area. so im hoping that this is temporary & part of the process but concerned that i may have caused new wrinkling. should i stop using under my eye? is this normal? what do you recommend? thanks!!
