Retin A - is This Crepey, Wrinkled Skin That's Appeared Around Eyes, Normal? (photo)

I'm 36 & always looked young for my age, but recently noticed fine lines under the surface of my whole face so.. I started using Tretinoin - Retino A 0.025%. The skin around my eyes hasn't tolerated it well. Swelled up, dried, flaked and new deep, crepey wrinkles appeared (see pic) They seem to be on a top layer of skin but I now look older than my gran! In addition, my skin is now sagging too. Is this temporary? If I stop using the Retin A will my skin go back to how it was before I used it?

So use moisturizer. And that area of skin is more sensitive so you don't need to apply tretinoin as frequent as in other areas. And yes, all of scars and other skin "defects" are gone after stop using it. Skin is one of the fastest regenerated organ in our body, so after some time it will start to look as it was before.
