Retin A Cream and V-Beam Laser

I've been using Retin A to prevent cystic acne from developing again. I use it only at night. I've also started V-Beam laser treatment to help reduce the redness.
My question is: 1. Can retin A be used while getting v-beam (i usually don't use retin a two days after my session) 2. Is v-beam a recommended choice to help fade the red marks?
