Can Retin-A Cause Allergic Reaction to Brow Tinting Dyes (Veg)?

I've been having my graying eyebrows tinted for several years. I just recently have had 3 occasions where I've experienced a reaction 3 hours after tinting. This reaction includes redness, swelling, itching on the skin above and below my brows. I also have a stye on a lower lid. I don't gray brows and I want beautiful skin (I am 55) and have used Renova 0.02% for 6 years or so. Please advise.
