Result of fat injections to lips seen in 3 weeks.

Hi. 1)  There is quite a bit of swelling after fat injections to the lips.  The swelling is mostly gone in 3 weeks, and you look presentable. 2)   Some of the fat atrophies and shrinks over time.  The way you look at four months should be the final result.

Fat injections always work better if performed gradually

Fat injections always work better if they are performed gradually over a series of treatments. For this reason the "final" result may not be apparent for months.

Fat injection to the upper lip

It takes at least 3 weeks and really 3 months to assess the results of fat grafting (lipoinjection) to the upper lip. Prior to 3 weeks there can be significant swelling present that may interfere with assessing graft take.
