Possible to restart Invisalign?

I got Invisalign trays a year ago, but quit 2 trays in. Is it possible to get back into using them, maybe by getting a couple new trays that will get my teeth to match the 1st tray? About 4 months ago I was still able to fit into the 2nd tray, but accidentally broke it.

Read my review "quit 2 trays in.. possible to start invisalign again?"

A: Restarting Invisalign after quitting

Susan Goode Estep, DMD

If the 2nd trays fit well, you may be able to call your dentist and see if you can buy a new set of 2nd trays to try to restart treatment. The fee for getting a new set of trays is usually between $150 and $350.

A: Consult your orthodontist

Usually this is not possible and you will have to get started again. Regardless of treatment our teeth keep on moving as we age. Most of the time is is negligible amount of movement. Please consult with your orthodontist.
