Filling Indentation Between Eyebrows with Filler

+1

Filler can be used to fill these lines.  However, introduction of filler into vessels in this area can lead to serious irreversible outcomes.  Make sure the injector is experiences in this and knows how to prevent complications.

Restylane & glabellar groove

Yes, this is a good "off-label" use for an HA filler like Restylane.  Often, combining it with Botox to relax the "frown muscles" in that area is a winning combination.

Filling indentations between eyebrows using fillers like restylane

+1

Restylane indeed can be used safely and effectively to treat the indentations that can develop between the eyebrows, sometimes called "11s". Other fillers like Juvederm can also be used. In most cases, we would combine the filler with Botox or other botulinum toxin since these indentations are often a function of excessive or chronic movements.

Restylane can fill an indentation

Restylane can definitely be used to fill an indentation between the eyebrows.  If your frowning has caused the indentation, relaxing the frown with Botox will help the Restylane last longer.  Please consult an experienced dermatologist or plastic surgeon for this treatment.

Restylane to fill indentation between eyebrows.

+1

Restylane or another filler, (Juvederm, etc;), can be used to fill in scars and wrinkles.  The usual first line treatment in our office is botox between the eyebrows.  Sometimes the wrinkle is deep and so some filler may help get the results the patient wants.

Can Restalyne Be Used to Fill a Small Indentation Between the Eyebrows?

+1

Yes Restylane can be considered for deeper furrow lines in between the eyebrows, also known as the glabella area. Usually, Dysport and Botox can be used for that area, after 3 - 4 treatments done in 3-4month intervals you will find that the static wrinkle (or indentation) will start to relax and smooth. However, sometimes there is a volume loss so filler is needed, such as Restylane, Radiesse, or fat injections which can last up to ten years.

Hope this was helpful!

Restylane great for glabella

+1

The area in between the eyebrows can develop a depression over time with the repeated daily use of the frowning muscle. Even after using Botox or Dysport the depression might persist. Using Restylane can improve it significantly. Although Restylane is supposed to last only six months, I have seen it last for up to 3 years especially if Botox or Dysport is used regularly.

Please make sure the injector is really good and will avoid injecting into a blood vessel which can cause blindness or skin necrosis (dying patch of skin). I am not trying to scare you but caution is always good.

Treating lines between the eyes

I would recommend starting with Botox for a small deficit and, if it doesn't produce the desired result, then consider Restylane. Botox is more cost effective as a primary treatment for a small area.

Can Restylane be used to fill a small indentation between the eyebrows?

+1

Yes, Restylane can be used to fill in the lines between the eyebrows but only after the Botox is used to soften them and paralyze the muscle. In many instances Botox is all that will be necessary to get the desired correction. Schedule a consultation with a Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon and you will be advised on a treatment plan that's right for you. Good luck to you.

Start w/ Botox for the wrinkle between the eyebrows

+1

Botox is an easy fix for even deep wrinkles in the glabella (the area between the eyebrows).  After a few months, even deep wrinkles will be much softer.  If they persist after a few moths and you need more correction, Restylane or another filler will often help.  Seek consultation with an experienced injector.
