I was in a car accident 16 years ago, broke my 4 top front teeth, needing 3 root canals/4 crowns. Over the years bacteria built up under my gums causing an infection & I now have bone loss severe enough, my dentist had difficulty replacing a crown(too much movement). She suggests I put in a temporary, until a plate can be made, let the bone heal, and then think about implants or a bridge.. Is this sound advice? I am only 35. Will it be possible to get a more permanent solution in the future?
