Will Removing Chin Implant Restore my Smile?

I had a chin augmentation 4 months ago. I'm having the implant removed as my smile is so much smaller now it hardly looks like I'm smiling. The movement of my lower-lip downwards is limited (this feels like it is due to the height of the implant getting in the way). Also I cannot raise the corners of my mouth upwards as high as I could before my surgery. I am concerned about whether removing the implant restore my smile? I am also worried that the muscle of my chin may not return to the way they were before.
