Can it be shaved? This is probably a very easy and basic procedure and I'm not willing to spend more than 200.00 on it. Thanks. Also, is nitrogen effective for mole removal in a single application?

Chin mole should be removed by elliptical excision
The best method to remove a chin mole is by cutting it out or elliptical excision. A mole goes the whole way through the skin so shaving will still leave the base of it and a round scar, albeit flatter. Depending upon where it is on the chin, the excision could be most likely vertical in orientation. It is a simple procedure done in the office under local anesthesiam so its cost in in the range of a few hundred dollars

Putting a price on mole removal when it could be malignant melanoma is not in your best interests.
I would seek evaluation by a dermatologist. You may want to call ahead for prices. If your mole is suspicious for a malignancy such as a melanoma it will need to be submitted for histologic evaluation. Be prepared to spend more than $200 and it is well worth it. Liquid nitrogen may be effective for superfical lesions and is inexpensive but it is not a good option for deep or suspicious lesions.
