How Do You Remove Scars from Burn That is About 18 Years Old?

When I was about 4 years old, a big hole was dug up in our backyard and used to burn trash. One day I was raking leaves into the hole and suddenly fell in, with ashes still hot from the fire. Now parts of my left leg, left arm, and left butt have 3rd degree burns. I just want to know if there is any treatment available out there to remove or just lessen the appearance of my scars.

Laser Treatments for Burn Scars?

Although we do not perform fractionated resurfacing for burn scars at our practice, we are aware of the developments in this area and would encourage you to seek out either Dr. Waibel or a local practitioner that has knowledge of the techniques she uses for burn scar revision. more
