Limit

It is not only impossible to remove all of the fat it also not a god idea. You need a glide plane if fat between the skin and muscle below ir you will have ripples and lines. This a contourinng procedure not a weight reducer

There is a maximum amount of fat that can be removed by Smart Lipo at one time

Smart Lipo is routinely done as an outpatient under local anesthesia (a technique called tumescent anesthesia). Many surgical societies have developed guidelines about how much fat can be safely removed during liposuction using tumescent anesthesia. That number is usually about 4 liters. That is a large volume of fat, and it would be a big person that would have more than 4 liters of fat to be removed from the abdomen.

Lipo of abdomen

Liposuction of the abdomen will not remove all the fat from the abdomen. You want to keep a thin layer so that there is not contour deformity.

Liposuction in the abdominal area can be performed circumferentially, so that the posterior hip rolls are contoured with the front side of the abdomen.... more

This has led to countless problems I have seen in patients who are seeking second opinions... more
