How Can I Reduce the Swelling in the Tip of Nose 2 Weeks Post Op?

Hi! I had open septorhinoplasty 2 weeks ago today, and, as expected, the tip of my nose is very very hard. I have been told that this will soften up and most of this swelling will be reduced in 3 months. In the meantime, is there anything I can do to speed the process up? Would softly massaging the tip in a small circular motion help? thanks!!
