What Can I Do to Reduce Scarring on 2year Old Burn Scar? (photo)

My daughter 2 year old was scalded by a cup of tea 10 weeks ago. It was a superficial burn although looked horrific to me. The area at the moment has closed and healed well no infection but is still quite red. Ive been using kelo cote silicone gel twice a day. Is there anything more I can to that will help the scare be a small and unnoticeable as possible. would putting a silicone sheet on top as well help anymore. Many many thanks
