I am trying to give myself bit time to save for new crowns as I had to replace them eventually but it has been only 5 weeks since original ones ware placed. Due to bad dental work I need root canal and like to Ask is it possible to extract root with crown on by drilling through it ?

Without any xrays, it is hard to say, but I can suggest you change that crown and you will not need to touch the gums,that way they would be even,and looking healthy,taking x rays in different angles would help, to see the crown adjustment also, Hope this helps.
Hi:Depending on where the chip is, you might be able to get a composite filling. However if the chip on the cusp most likely you either need an onlay or a crown.Best,Dr. Maddahi
Find a dentist who does internal bleaching. Some of the root canal material is removed and a special bleach is used to whiten the inside of the tooth. Teeth that are "dead" sometimes can turn very dark. That is what your seeing through your gum.... A very dark root.
