Reddish/Brown Spots After Glycolic Peel?

I did a 40% glycolic acid peel, last night. I still have some active acne, so peel also went over it as well After a couple of hours after the peel, I got some dark reddish/brown marks over that acne. Today, the next day, the skin is really dry and I think the dark patches will peel off. But does it seem like I burnt my skin. Also, this isn't my first time doing the peel. I have done 10% and worked my way upto 40% and this is my third 40% peel and all my others peels went very well. Please help.
