Red Hyperpigmentation Between Nose and Lip Following Burn

Although a second degree facial burn from an oxygen tank healed, it left a bright red hyperpigmentation of the skin between the nose and mouth making me appear like a monster in a movue--candy apple red. Are there any treatments to turn the area brown again?
