Hi, I had my upper and lower jaws repositioned 8 months ago. Since then i've had several reicurring infections, causing pain and one side of my face to swell each time. I went to my oral surgeon and had my titaniam plates removed, thinking that was causing the infections, turns out that wasn't the reason either. Im getting really worried and they're still unsure of what is causing it. Is it possible for this to be a permanite problem and to continue to swell like this forever?
