I have endometreosis on rectus abdominas muscle that must be surgically removed. Doctor advised this would be good opportunity for tummy tuck. What kind of recovery time frame should I expect?

In short, yes, it may be beneficial to have this local endometrial implant excised at the same time as a Tummy Tuck if two things are true: One, the lesion has to be in an area that would be easily accessable through a standard tummy tuck incision and not interfere with normal healing.  Two, you have to be a good candidate for a tummy tuck and also, you should really want the tummy tuck even if not for this endometriosis lesion.  The Tummy tuck procedure will not be covered... more
