Any Reason for Maxillary Protusion?

So a few months ago (this past April), i fell left chin/jaw bottom first onto a wooden table. Would this impact ( to my left chin/jaw hit quite hard), cause left maxilla protusion and also continuing swellness of the left chin and jaw? What specialist should i seek. I already saw a orthodontist and oral maxiofacial surgeon and they told me that i have tmj, but i don't think this is causing maxilla protusion and swellness of chin/jaw.
