Does Rapidlash Cause Darkening of the Iris?

Is it possible at all? I have applied the product to the base of my eyelashes. It is unlikely that I have gotten it in my eye. In any case how does the eye colour darken? Does the whole iris just get darker or do parts of the iris get darker first?
