Is getting a broken rib under your tissue expander after the last fill common? Is it going to break again when I go for the exchange? It is very painful and now I can't do any upper stretching exercises for the expanders!

I find that it can take even a few weeks to begin to feel less "tight." Once the tissues begin to relax a bit, you should have less discomfort. I cannot remember a patient who loved their expanders, but with placement of the true implant will likely help you feel better.
