Raised Scar After Sciton Profractional Laser

I am undergoing a series of Sciton Profractional-XC Laser treatments to fade a large, flat surgical scar that has widened in a few spots. After the 1st treatment, in the widened areas, the scar has become raised. I am concerned and was wondering if this is a normal part of the swelling, because the flat areas of the scar stayed flat after the treatment. I am worried about this. Thank you.
