Could Radiesse Injections Have Compromised Cheek Muscles?

I had radiesse injected 14 months ago. My cheeks look like they're being pulled down. My cheeks were high and defined before the injections but now they look pushed down when I smile. Its worse on the left so my face is crooked when I smile. The naso-labial fold is a different shape on the left side. Will this ever go away and could the injections have hurt the muscles in my cheeks?

Radiesse can be injected into the cheek and can traumatize the muscles over time

Radiesse can be injected into the cheek and can traumatize the muscles over time. But the muscles will recover once the Radiesse dissolves.

Radiesse provides temporary improvement

It is doubtful that any permanent impairment is produced by Radiesse. See your doctor to evaluate your concerns.  The bulk of the product may interfere with your smile but this is expected to diminish with time.

Yes it can. Im 30 years old and had that thing injected in my cheeks since i felt it was giving me a look of being a little tired all the time. Obviously this starts to be more evident by aging and all the fat a musscle matters on the face. The "Dr" recommended me to get Radisse instead of Juveederm because the area to attend was to little and he said it was going to be allright. He insisted in having the rest of the material injected on top on my nose, so it would look more even. I really didn't have any knowlage of this, since it was my first time doing it. So at the end of the processes of injecting i signed a document where i was agreeing with the fact that this material would last in my skin a year or longer. So what happened after was this, the following 3 days i looked like having sunburn on my cheeks, you could kinda of see that something was under my skin and didn't look natural. The following 3 weeks it started to fade away and you could still see a difference in the color, so it was like it never really looked as i expected. But my nose looked better, i have to say. About 3 months happen and the material completly went away. It was absorbed of course. It didn't last a year, as Dr. Phill said it was going to be but i guess i should be thankfull for this. But the most important thing is that this left kinda of a gap on that cheek that was bothering me the most. Im totally unhappy with this and what i guess that happened is that he insisted so much about injecting my nose because he wanted me to see a clear improvement on my face somehow and wasn't so sure about the rest of the job. He's located in Mid town in NYC
