Radiation for recurrent keloid

Thank you for the question. The type of radiation for recurrent is keloid and its dose is determined by the radiation oncologist. In general, once the keloid is removed, radiation starts the same day of surgery and continue for another 2-3 days based on the radiation oncologist recommendation.

Do I need radiation for my keloids

Most keloids, even recurrent ones, can be treated without radiation in my practice. I would advise you to seek a second opinion.
