R20 Laser Tattoo Removal on 3 Month Old Inner Calf Tribal All Black Tattoo. A Good Idea? (photo)

From the moment I removed the bandage, I realized that I had made a terrible choice. I realized that this just doesn't fit into my personality. A well renowned dermatologist in NYC performs the R20 procedure and he claims that black tattoos such as mine can be removed in about 2 sessions ($1600 per R20 session). Do you think I could have more permanent hair loss/hypo-pigmentation if I undergo the R20? If I underwent the regular laser treatment what results do you think I could expect? should i just do traditional removal? Thank you.
