Straining at Number Two After Rhinoplasty Will Not Affect Nose

Hi Long, No shit!  Straining at your bowels one month after rhinoplasty will not affect your nose, but you may blow a few hemorrhoids.  Best to consider more fiber in the ol' diet, and/or stool softeners. Good luck and be well. Dr. P

Don't worry,

You should have no effect from straining in the bathroom.  Unless there was a lot of bleeding from your nose I would not worry about it.  If you think there was a change after this happened, contact your plastic surgeon. Congrats on your new nose.

Post-op rhinoplasty

Straining in the bathroom one month after having a rhinoplasty should not impact your results.  Some patients early on may get nose bleeds with straining, but you should be ok at this point.

Rhinoplasty - 1 mo ago

Don't worry - it's unlikely you injured your surgical site by straining.  As long as you don't have direct trauma or pressure to your nose, your rhinoplasty results are unlikely to be affected. Dr. Cat Begovic M.D.
