Will Purpuric V-Beam Yield Better Results?

I'm desperately trying to treat persistent redness of my nose and cheeks. I've tried regular V-Beam, and it hasn't made a difference. If I go for the bruising - can I expect better results? How can I find someone experienced in this type of treatment? My dermatologist has a V-Beam, but seems unmotivated and VERY rushed every time I visit him and ask questions about the treatment. Are there any laser specialists in California?
