Are Puffy Eyes and Dark Circles Caused by Inflammed Skin?

I'm sensitive to light bulbs and heat. One day I was in front of the mirror, with attached incandescent light bulbs that are hot. My face got burned from exposure. I think the left side had slightly more bulbs than my right, from my position.
My skin got really swollen,hot and burned. I didn't sleep for a few weeks. 2 months later I noticed that my left eye was puffy, and had some dark discolouration underneath. At 6 months, both are puffy. Did the lights/heats cause this?
