PRP with Fractional CO2 Laser?

I am considering a fractional CO2 laser. Would protein rich plasm injections help with healing? I have read it contains 22 healing properties. Oral surgeons and orthopedic surgeons are using them - why is there not more usage with plastic surgeons and dermatologists? If not PRP? What about vitamin injections?

Yes, platelet rich plasma improves fractionated CO2 laser results

Platelet rich plasma produces quicker healing and greater patient satisfaction when used with fractionated CO2 laser resurfacing. This has been our experience and is documented in evidence based literature (for example: Na, et al.; Dermatol Surg 2011;37:463–468). It is an individual decision whether the benefits are worth the added expense.
