CONTACT NOW Answer: The trip to the stylist before surgery I see the reason that you can't go to your stylist and have your hair styled and colored. This should not affect your surgery or your outcome. If you have any doubts please ask your operating surgeon.

Answer: Hair Coloring And Surgery Thank you for your question. Hair coloring is only a concern around surgery if you are having facial procedures. The chemicals used for hair coloring can be caustic and impair wound healing. A general rule of thumb is to color your hair rather week before surgery and no earlier than three weeks after facial surgery as long as you are healing normally. This is helpful because most friends and co-workers will only notice your new cut and hair color and not the surgical change. They attribute the change in appearance to your hair and not your face. It is a useful technique to use when re-entering social situations after facial surgery. There is no impact on anesthesia and healing with hair coloring and body contouring surgery, but is is a good idea to also use this camouflage technique upon return to work or activities. It will improve your self confidence and improve your look! Best wishes! Color on!
