I Need to Know if I Am Pregnant?

I really do not want to be pregnant, so I have been worrying myself over the fact. My question is what exactly can alter hCG levels in your body? I have had my period twice since the last time I was sexually active (but they were both kinda short, only 3 days) and I have had numerous negative home pregnancy tests (the most recent was today). Can the Kenalog low dose steroid shot for allergies effect my hCG levels? Or can I trust that my negative tests are valid?
